Original 11x15in water color pen & ink on 140lbs paper. I referenced a photo from my adult daughter taken last February. A snow capped Vesuvio is a rare event. Vesuvio is an active volcano! When I started this art adventure after 23 years, and convincing from my daughters. This photo was my first project. It was a disaster! So I gave up... however after creating some 60 pieces of art work. My skill has improved enough to conquer majestic Vesuvio!
Through renderings of botanical, ancient historical monuments, foreign landscapes, seascapes, Clyde tells a visual story of life's journey. His work is in watercolor, acrylic, and oil paint and, occasionally, pen and ink with a tight, illustrative hand. Clyde created and operates an internet radio station for the past 20 years, playing nostalgic radio plays. Clyde has always been creative and a visual artist.
